Professional Summary
I am a design engineer who transitioned into visualization and VR, combining my technical foundation with creative innovation. After graduating in Automotive Design & Engineering in 2005, I began my career full of energy and passion for technology and product development.
In February 2009, I was given a dream opportunity to join Koenigsegg, where I designed a completely new rear wing from a blank sheet, handling everything from concept and engineering to mounting the first wing on the car. For a car enthusiast like me, it was a career-defining moment.
While working as an engineer, I developed a growing interest in visualization. In 2013, I shifted my focus and began working with photorealistic images in the Perceived Quality (PQ) department at Volvo Cars. I quickly realized this was the area I wanted to specialize in.
In 2016, I took the next step by introducing VR technology into the PQ team at CEVT in Gothenburg. I strongly believed VR had the potential to evolve from a “cool” feature to a powerful product development tool. We were among the first teams in Sweden to implement VR in the industrial design process. To accelerate adoption, I even brought my personal VR equipment to the office and started collaborating with other departments. One of my regular stakeholders was Peter Horbury, former Executive VP of Design at Geely, who often turned to me for tailored solutions, our conversations often revolved around cars, too.
Since 2013, I have worked as a Visualization and VR Artist, and my passion for this field remains as strong as ever. I am driven by curiosity, innovation, and a constant desire to stay at the forefront of visualization technology.
My preferred software includes Autodesk VRED, Epic Twinmotion, and Catia V5. I also have basic knowledge of Blender and Unreal Engine
